Supported accommodation for 16–25s, across Wales.

Proactive support. Proven outcomes.

The Ember Project is a new, founder-led provider. We won't claim a track record we don't have yet. What we will put in writing: who runs the service, how fast we respond, and exactly what a young person gets — and you can hold us to all of it.

What we're for

Outcomes, not occupancy

A young person should leave us measurably more capable than when they arrived. Not just housed, not just safe — able to run a home, manage money, hold down college or work, and handle what adult life throws at them. Everything below follows from that.

Proactive support. Proven outcomes.

We don't wait for a crisis to have the conversation. Every young person has an outcome-led plan from week one, and the work is driven by that plan rather than by whatever happened this week.

Flexible, consistent, documented.

Flexible in the model — single occupancy through to fully staffed, matched to the young person rather than to whatever is empty. Consistent once they're in: the same named key worker, every week. Documented throughout, against the same framework each time so progress can actually be compared.

The aim is to be needed less.

Support hours are set against the assessment and revisited at every review, not fixed for the life of a placement. When a young person is doing more for themselves, the evidence shows it and the hours follow.

Who we are

We're new. Here's why that's in your interest.

The Ember Project is small by design and founder-led in practice, not just on paper: the founder reads every referral, visits every house every week, and attends review meetings in person. Around that sits a staff team hired for experience and steadiness — people from care, hostel and youth work backgrounds, recruited safely and supervised every month.

We won't show you outcome charts yet, because we don't have years of data and won't invent it. What a new provider can offer that an incumbent often can't:

  • Direct accountability. No layers to escalate through. If something goes wrong you call a founder, and the person you call is the person who can fix it.
  • Capacity that's actually available. We're building occupancy, which means placements can start quickly rather than joining a waiting list.
  • Nothing to unlearn. Our practice model was written this year, against the current statutory guidance, not retrofitted to it.

Scrutinise us. DBS certificates for the founder and every member of staff, safer recruitment records, insurance and policies are available before any referral is made. Visit any house unannounced. We'd rather you checked than took our word.
